Job Description:
DashamLabs is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Lab Assistant to support laboratory testing, quality control, and R&D activities at our manufacturing facility in Bawal. The role involves routine chemical testing, sample preparation, equipment handling, and documentation in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Preparation & Testing

  • Prepare raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products for testing
  • Perform routine chemical and physical tests as per defined procedures
  • Record and analyse test results accurately
  • Operate laboratory instruments under supervision

Laboratory Operations & Equipment

  • Handle laboratory instruments such as pH meters, spectrometers, microscopes, chromatographs, etc.
  • Perform basic equipment cleaning, calibration, and routine maintenance
  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping and chemical storage Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain test records, logbooks, and laboratory documentation
  • Assist in preparing data for quality reports, audits, and inspections
  • Follow GLP, safety, and environmental guidelines

Inventory Management

  • Track laboratory chemicals, reagents, and consumables
  • Monitor expiry dates and assist in procurement planning

R&D & Cross-Functional Support

  • Support R&D trials, experiments, and process improvement activities
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and R&D teams for testing requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

  • B.Sc. in Chemistry (mandatory)
  • 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and instruments
  • Knowledge of chemical testing methods and basic calculations
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / spreadsheets for data recording
  • Basic working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
  • Exposure to equipment calibration and maintenance preferred
  • Good documentation skills and attention to detail
