DashamLabs is seeking a hands-on Product and Technology Development Engineer to bridge technology development, customer applications, and manufacturing scale-up for advanced insulation and thermal protection solutions.

This is a multidisciplinary, impact-driven role suited for engineers who enjoy working close to real-world applications — from lab trials and simulations to customer deployments and factory integration. You will work closely with R&D, Business Development, and Manufacturing teams to translate material innovation into commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application & Product Development

• Execute laboratory trials, sampling, pilot deployments, and field validations
• Quantify performance, value creation, and application-specific optimizations
• Conduct simulations or analytical studies where applicable
• Develop and execute testing and characterization programs
• Track relevant technical literature and industry developments

2. Market & Customer Interface

• Provide technical support during customer engagements and deployments
• Prepare technical documentation (data sheets, SOPs, application notes, validation reports)
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and on-site support
• Capture field feedback and support benchmarking and competitive validation

3. Market & Opportunity Assessment

• Identify new applications, industries, and use cases aligned with the technology roadmap
• Perform application-level market mapping and techno-commercial assessments
• Translate customer requirements into internal development inputs

4. Manufacturing & Scale-up Support

• Support commercial deployment of new products on the manufacturing floor
• Assist in scale-up, process stabilization, and line commissioning
• Contribute to quality control, testing, and safety protocols for new lines

What You Bring

Required

• B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical, Mechanical, Thermal Engineering, or allied fields
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in application, product, process, or technical support roles
• Hands-on exposure to lab trials, pilot testing, or field implementation
• Ability to translate customer or application needs into engineering actions
• Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and comfort working across teams
• Practical, safety-conscious, and disciplined execution mindset
• Exposure to industrial instrumentation and the ability to understand and work with basic electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

Preferred

• M.Tech / M.E. or equivalent advanced training
• Exposure to thermal insulation, thermal management, or high-temperature materials
• Working knowledge of simulation, data analysis, or design tools (CFD, CAD, MATLAB, Python, etc.)
• Experience in process industries, energy, EVs, or advanced manufacturing
